Our youth tennis programs are designed to help players of all ages and skill levels develop their tennis skills, build confidence, and have fun on the court. We follow a progressive curriculum using age and skill appropriate ball colors - Red, Orange, and Green Balls - so young athletes can advance at their own pace. Red Ball
(Ages 6 & Under | Pre-Rally Stage)
The Red Ball program is a fun and welcoming introduction to tennis for young players. Designed for beginners, this class helps children develop coordination, balance, racquet awareness, and early ball control in a structured and supportive environment. Players are introduced to the ABCs of sport - Agility, Balance, and Coordination - while learning to follow instructions and practice positive on-court behavior.
Sessions focus on age-appropriate drills and activities that build confidence, improve movement skills, and establish strong athletic foundations
Skills your child will develop:
Tracking and catching rolling and bouncing balls
Tapping or drop-hitting the ball over the net with basic racquet control
Maintaining balance in the ready position and during movement
Performing an overhand throw to a target
Understanding recovery position and basic sportsmanship (taking turns, high-fives)
Staying engaged and following simple instructions
Orange Ball
(Ages 9 & Under | Early Rally Stage)
The Orange Ball program is designed for players who are ready to move beyond the Red Ball stage and begin developing real rally and point-play skills. This class builds on established fundamentals while introducing more structured training that helps players rally consistently, improve stroke reliability, and gain confidence in match-style situations.
Players work on developing more consistent forehand and backhand contact, learning how to start points with underhand and introductory overhand serves, and improving movement, balance, and court positioning. The ABCs of sport - Agility, Balance, and Coordination - remain a key focus as players continue to strengthen athletic skills alongside tennis-specific development.
Skills your child will develop:
Rallying 6+ balls with forehand and backhand, including early topspin
Proper unit turn and follow-through on both sides
Improved footwork, spacing, and balance for varying ball heights and speeds
Continental grip and a basic second serve
Return skills: neutralizing, redirecting, or attacking weaker serves
Controlled volleys, overheads, and approach shots
Execution of basic point patterns and growing court awareness
This program prepares players for Green Ball play while building confidence, consistency, and strong early match-play habits.
Green Ball
(Ages 14 & Under | Consistent Rally Stage)
The Green Ball program is designed for players ready to transition to full-court tennis. Building on the skills developed in Red Ball and Orange Ball, this class emphasizes rally consistency, controlled topspin on groundstrokes, and continued development of the serve and return. Players refine movement, spacing, and recovery while learning to construct points using directional control and basic tactical patterns.
Instruction focuses on developing confidence with full scoring, match routines, and decision-making during point play, preparing athletes for competitive play on a full-size court.
Skills your child will develop:
Rally & Strokes
Sustain 8+ ball rallies with controlled topspin
Handle a variety of ball heights, speeds, and angles
Execute offensive, neutral, and defensive shots
Serve & Return
Develop a consistent first serve and a controlled second serve
Neutralize or attack returns based on serve quality

High School Off-Season Clinic
(Ages 18 & Under)
The High School Off-Season Clinic is a physically demanding training program designed for committed players looking to improve fitness, consistency, and work rate during the off-season. Each session emphasizes high-volume repetition, technical refinement, and sustained effort in a fast-paced training environment.
Classes begin with a dynamic warm-up and stretching sequence, followed by coach-fed and tossed drills, including serve-fed balls for focused return practice. Players train all major shots - groundstrokes, volleys, overheads, serves, and returns - through continuous, high-repetition drill patterns.
Agility and movement training are integrated throughout each session to challenge speed, balance, recovery, and court coverage. This clinic does not include match play or live-ball rallies. The emphasis is on building endurance, strength, mental toughness, and technical reliability, making it an ideal off-season program for serious high school players preparing for competition.
Skills your child will develop:
Execute all tennis strokes with consistency and technical discipline during extended, high-volume training
Maintain efficient footwork, a reliable split-step, and quick recovery during high intensity play
Apply tactical awareness and construct points effectively within structured drill scenarios
Build endurance, sustained focus, and mental toughness in physically demanding training conditions
Consistently find the sweet spot with proper follow-through and strike-zone awareness, adjusting to varying ball speeds and trajectories
Control shot direction, depth, and spin while maintaining strength, balance, and tennis-specific fitness
