Private Swim Lessons
Our private swim lessons are tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each swimmer. With a one to one ratio, our swimmers receive their instructor’s undivided attention allowing for faster progress. Lessons are taught according to the swimmer’s ability and skill level and are typically done once a week. Scheduling is flexible and based on instructor and swimmer availability.

Youth Private Swim
Beginner Swimmers
Designed for beginner swimmers aged 2-17, our one-on-one private swim lessons provide a safe and supportive environment to build water confidence and learn the basics. Whether your swimmer is getting in the pool for the first time or whether they are working on foundational skills like floating, kicking, or putting their face in the water, our instructors will meet your swimmer where they are at, tailoring each lesson to the needs of your swimmer.
The instructor will teach these lessons from in the water.
Duration: 30 minutes
Cost per lesson: Member: $55, Non-Member: $70
Billing and Cancellation Policies
Any cancellation within the 48-hour window will be considered a late cancellation and will be charged. Please send cancellation requests to our aquatics team at centeraquatics@wearepcc.com.
Peninsula Community Center reserves the right to cancel lessons if deemed necessary.
Lessons will be billed after lesson completion due to our cancellation policy. We aim to bill all lessons within 5 business days.
How to Book Private Swim Lessons

Member Portal
via Center website and online

Log in to the PCC member portal.

Select the Private Swim Lessons tab.

Once in the Private Swim Lessons tab, you will be prompted to narrow down your search.

Which Private Swim Lessons

Select the type of swim lesson you are interested in - Adult Learn to Swim, Private Stroke Lesson or Youth Private Swim Lesson.

Note: All Private Swim Lessons (appointments) will automatically be selected. DO NOT leave this selected. Please select one of the three lesson options.

With Whom

Select an Instructor by name or select All Instructors.

When

Week day - check the box of which days of the week you would like lessons.

Note: It will automatically select Monday through Sunday if you do not specify.

Dates - choose the date range in which you would like to book lessons.

The options will be: Next 3 days, Next 5 days, Next Week, Next 2 weeks or Next Month. You can also choose your own dates to put in a date range.

Note: It will automatically select as soon as possible if you do not specify.

Time - choose the timeframe in which you would like to book lessons.

The options will be: Anytime, Morning (Before Noon), Afternoon (Noon to 5pm), Evening (After 5pm).

Note: It will automatically select Anytime if you do not specify.

Once you have selected a weekday, date, and time, or leave the default to check all availability. Click Search.

The search results show you the available booking times for each staff member. Click Book next to the time you want to schedule.

Review your appointment details and make any necessary edits.

Enter any notes you wish for the instructor to see. These notes are specific to each appointment.

Note: It can be helpful to include information about learning style or preferences in the notes section.

Click the Book Appointment button.

Since swim lessons are usually paid for after the service, you are redirected to your My Schedule screen to see your upcoming appointments.

*Non-Members*: please ensure you have a credit card on file in order to pay for lessons. You will need a credit card on file in order for us to teach the swim lesson.
