Peninsula Community Center (PCC) Code of Conduct

Peninsula Community Center (PCC) is committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and positive environment for everyone. Each one of us shares responsibility for fostering the kindness, respect, and understanding that make our Center community friendly and inclusive.

To promote the enjoyment and well-being of everyone on our campus:

Engage Positively

  • Strive to have constructive and encouraging interactions.

  • Treat others with kindness—free from harassment, intimidation, threats, aggression, harmful or unwanted physical contact, angry or vulgar language, or any form of discrimination.

  • Be mindful and respectful of others’ privacy and personal boundaries.

Protect Privacy and Peace

  • Only photograph, video, livestream, or video chat in areas where other people’s images will not be captured or shared without their consent.*

  • Keep noise to a respectful level—avoid shouting, banging, playing loud music or videos, or holding phone or video conversations that may disturb others.

  • Maintain privacy in locker rooms, where cell phone use, photos, and videos are strictly prohibited.

Model Healthy and Safe Behavior

  • Use and store all equipment safely and responsibly to avoid injury to yourself or others.

  • Weapons and harmful objects of any kind are not permitted at PCC.

  • Smoking, vaping, narcotics, alcohol and illegal drugs are prohibited anywhere on PCC property.

Care for Our Shared Spaces

  • Treat PCC facilities, furnishings, and equipment with care so they remain in excellent condition for everyone.

  • Keep shared areas accessible—store personal items in lockers and off floors, equipment, and furniture.

  • Notify PCC staff if something needs repair or attention.

Engage with Our Team

  • Ask Center staff if you have questions about equipment use or facility policies.

  • Please use PCC’s personal trainers, tennis pros, group fitness instructors, and swim coaches while onsite, and refrain from hiring or receiving instruction from outside private coaches while at the Center.

Should any behavior jeopardize our community’s safety or harmony, PCC reserves the right to take appropriate action, including suspension or cancellation of membership privileges or restriction from program participation.

*PCC may request modification or removal of any use of the image, face, voice, or likeness of a PCC employee, member, or guest taken on our campus.
