PCC Tennis Program
We offer a comprehensive and professionally run program that will
greatly enhance your ability and enjoyment of the game of tennis. Both
children and adults can benefit from the expertise of our USPTA (United
States Professional Tennis Association) certified staff, who approaches
each program with a commitment to maintain a high level of involvement
from all participants.
Facilities
PCCC has four individually fenced and lighted courts plus one teaching court.
Court Reservations
PCCC members can reserve courts up to three days in advance.
Two courts are designated as "walk-ons."
Pro Shop
Our Pro Shop features Wilson racquets for adults and juniors as well as
balls, shoes and other tennis accessories. A ball machine and demo
racquets are also available to rent.

Leagues
USTA Adult Leagues
Adult
leagues are a great source of competition, camaraderie and fun for all
tennis enthusiasts, from beginners to the most advanced. The season
begins March 20. Each team match consists of five individual matches,
two singles and three doubles teams. Match schedule is:
Level 3.0 - Mondays
Level 3.5 - Tuesdays
Level 4.0 - Wednesdays
Level 4.5 - Thursdays
Level 5.0 - Flexible
A detailed list of player requirements is available at the Front Desk. Basically, the requirements are:
1. You must be 19
years or older and a PCCC member. If a team does not have enough
players, non-members can play with Sid’s approval. However, at
least 50% of the team must be PCCC members.
2. You must have a USTA membership which extends through the local league season.
3. You must have a valid NTRP rating or will self rate when you register on a team.
4. You need to pay the appropriate fees.
Sign-ups
at PCCC open on Monday, January 9 and initially close on Sunday,
February 12 at which time the number of PCCC teams playing in the
league will be determined. Once teams are registered on-line by their
captain, sign-ups at PCCC will resume.
On-line
team registrations open on Monday, January 9 and close on Sunday,
February 19. Captains need to be chosen during this time in order to
register their teams by the deadline. If you would like to be a captain
on a USTA team, call the Tennis Office.
Players
also need to register on-line with USTA. Players can be added to the
roster either by their captain or individually once a team has been
registered. Players can change teams until April 16 and can be added to
other team rosters until May 21. At least eight players are needed at
any one level to constitute a team.

Interclubs
Women in Levels 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0
play against other local tennis clubs during weekday mornings on a
monthly basis, from September to June. Interclubs for juniors are
generally held during the summer.
Playdays
Women at designated levels play on various weekdays (Monday through Thursday).
Men have open play on Wednesdays at noon and Saturday mornings.
Lessons
Lessons and Clinics
Private or group lessons and clinics are available for adults and
juniors by our USPTA certified tennis instructors. Times vary. Fees
depend on type of lesson as follows:

Junior Program
Junior Program - Year Round
Classes are held year-round for ages three to 18 years old for all
abilities, from the beginner to advanced. Our Spring sessions
begin March 5, 2007. The three-session program will end June
7. Except during the summer, the schedule is as follows:

In conjunction with our junior program, camps are held during school
breaks in the spring and winter for ages 6 to 18 years old. Activities
include video analysis, drills, situation games and tournament
play.
